Commissioned Painting

Wouldn't be great to create a custom original watercolor painting just for you? The subject can be a landscape, floral scene, or any other idea you have in mind—whether it’s your favorite flower, a beloved country scene, or something else entirely.

Please note that I do not currently offer portraits of people.

Materials

Your custom painting will be created on high-quality 140lb/300gsm Arches or Saunders Waterford watercolor paper (based on the subject and style of the painting). I use only artist-grade watercolor paints, including M. Graham and Daniel Smith. The painting can be either vertical or horizontal, depending on your preference.

How It Works

1. Initiate Inquiry
Start by messaging me with a description of the painting you’d like to commission. Including reference images or photos will help me understand your vision better. I’ll review your request to see if it aligns with my expertise and artistic style. If your idea is something I can create, I’ll let you know, and you can then proceed to place your order.

2. Collaborate on Your Vision
Once your order is confirmed, we’ll work together to refine your concept. I may ask for more details, such as your preferred color palette, style, and specific elements you'd like included. Once we’ve finalized the vision, I’ll begin the painting process. Currently the turnaround time is typically 1-2 weeks.

3. Progress & Final Review
During the creation of your painting, I’ll keep you updated on the progress. Once the painting is near completion, I’ll send you a final snapshot for your approval. I’ll do my best to accommodate reasonable requests for adjustments throughout the painting process. However, please note that once the painting is completed, significant changes may not be possible without repainting large portions, which could require additional time and potentially incur extra charges.

4. Shipping
Once completed, your painting will be carefully packed and shipped flat in a rigid mailer to ensure it arrives safely.

Feel free to message me with any questions or ideas. I’d love to collaborate with you on creating your unique, custom artwork!
